CIA Psychics Hunted the Lost Ark: Unbelievable Details Revealed!

CIA psychicsCIA files detail the search for the Ark of the Covenant

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has a long history of exploring unconventional methods for intelligence gathering. Declassified files have brought renewed attention to Project Sun Streak, a 1980s operation that explored the potential of using psychics to locate targets of interest.

One of the project’s most intriguing endeavors involved the search for the legendary Ark of the Covenant, a religious relic believed to have once held the original Ten Commandments. This artifact, thought to have disappeared during the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem in the 6th century B.C.E., has captivated treasure seekers and archaeologists for centuries.

CIA documents detail a clairvoyant’s unusual attempt to locate this sought-after artifact.

In the 1980s, Project Sun Streak aimed to utilize psychics who could visualize distant targets. These individuals would “project their consciousness” to remote locations, providing details about objects, people, or places of interest.

Documents declassified in August 2000 revealed that the CIA employed a psychic to locate the Ark of the Covenant, a Biblical artifact traditionally associated with Moses and the Ten Commandments.

For centuries, historians and archaeologists have endeavored to locate the Ark. Tradition describes it as constructed from wood, overlaid with gold, and designed with poles for transport.

The Ark is believed to have resided in the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, which was destroyed in the 6th century B.C.E. Its whereabouts have remained unknown since.

However, a psychic working with the CIA claimed to have pinpointed the location of this legendary religious relic in 1988, during a psychic session.

The declassified CIA files describe the Ark of the Covenant.

On December 5, 1988, the CIA tasked a psychic, identified as “remote viewer #32,” involved in Project Sun Streak, with locating an item later revealed to be the Ark of the Covenant.

Reports indicate that psychics involved in this operation were not informed of the target’s identity and were guided through the process by an intermediary.

During the session, the psychic described a vision of being within a dark, damp underground chamber in the Middle East, situated near several mosques and occupied by Arabic-speaking men. A large container was present in the center of the room, while mummies lined the edges.

“The target is a container,” CIA documents reported. “This container has another container inside of it. The target is fashioned of wood, gold, and silver. Similar in shape to a coffin and is decorated with seraphim.”

The psychic even produced an illustration of the Ark, featuring four seraphim, a type of angel recognized in Jewish and Christian traditions, at each corner.

Furthermore, the psychic characterized the item as a spiritually significant relic with connections to humanity’s origins. “There is an aspect of spirituality, information, lessons and the historical knowledge far beyond what we now know,” the psychic conveyed.

The psychic’s description also included ominous warnings. Despite being in a room with a group of men, the Ark of the Covenant was left undisturbed, due to potential grave consequences associated with opening it.

“The target is protected by entities and can only be opened by those who are authorized to do so — this container will not/cannot be opened until the time is deemed correct,” the psychic explained. “Individuals opening the container by prying or striking are destroyed by the container’s protectors through the use of a power unknown to us.”

Criticism of the CIA’s Project Sun Streak and its Findings

“If someone claims that remote viewing proves the existence of something, such as the Ark of the Covenant, they must produce the Ark to substantiate their claim,” Joe McMoneagle stated. “I would challenge the entire practice session as bogus. No one attempted to ascertain the ground truth of the material, and everything said was accepted on its unknown and unverified merit.”

Given the absence of definitive proof regarding the Ark of the Covenant’s existence, this episode may remain another entry in the CIA’s extensive catalog of unusual and outlandish secret operations that yielded little or no tangible results.
